Warsaw, 10 September 2014 – CBRE is pleased to announce that the process of recommercialisation of Krakow’s Galeria Kazimierz has begun, and the first tenant, Stefanel – a brand fitting perfectly into the new lease strategy, opened its salon on the 6th September.

The Italian clothing brand STEFANEL has been operating for over 50 years. STEFANEL guarantees extreme comfort sacrificing neither femininity nor elegance. FEEL MORE is the motto of the company. Knitwear is the crucial element of each of the company’s collection. Jumpers, dresses, skirts, trousers and coats are made of wool, mohair, cashmere, and synthetic as well as natural fibres, creating the total look of knitted goods.

Galeria Kazimierz is a 38,300 sq m modern shopping centre located at Podgórska Street in Krakow. The property offers 140 retail units with both Polish and international brands, as well as a 10-screen cinema multiplex. Invesco Real Estate owns Galeria Kazimierz.

Magdalena Frątczak, Director at CBRE Retail Agency, said:
“We are extremely pleased to have signed the agreement with STEFANEL. The brand fits perfectly into the new lease strategy developed for the process of recommercialisation of Galeria Kazimierz.”

CBRE, the property manager and the exclusive agent representing Galeria Kazimierz, has begun an implementation of a long-term strategy for restructuring the centre’s retail area. The changes aim at refreshing the tenant mix, and meeting the current market trends as well as the clients’ expectations.
