Warsaw, 18 February 2014 – CBRE Corporate Outsourcing, a part of CBRE Group, is pleased to announce recent senior appointments.

Maciej Piwowarczyk has joined CBRE Corporate Outsourcing in Warsaw as new Head of EMEA GCS Shared Service Centre at Senior Director level.

In his new role, he will be responsible for running CBRE Corporate Outsourcing business in Poland that offers a wide range of outsourcing services, including portfolio management, lease administration and client accounting. At this moment CBRE Corporate Outsourcing provides services to over 30 corporate clients from many sectors, including the world’s leading banks and IT companies and hires over 250 highly qualified staff.

Maciej Piwowarczyk moved from Accenture where he worked for 7 years at various roles locally and regionally across Transition, Delivery and Delivery Centre Operations for BPO. As his last role being part of regional core leadership team, Maciej was leading BPO Programs for EMEA and Operations for North & Central Europe. Prior to Accenture he spent several years in HP.

Maciej combines great operational experience with leadership and strategy shaping skills. Thru the years in previous companies he gained excellent process improvement capabilities and change management skills across many Industries (IT, Products or Resources), Capabilities (Finance & Accounting, Procurement or Marketing) operating in truly global network and most of with great portfolio of Clients.

Barbara Huss-Kaniewska has been promoted to Senior Managing Director, Global Leader of GCS Real Estate Accounting Services.

Barbara has worked with CBRE Global Corporate Services for last 6 years leading and building CBRE Shared Service Centre, which is a highly efficient platform that has supported the growth of CBRE’s Portfolio Services and Facilities Management businesses.

Barbara has over 8 years of real estate, finance and audit experience, being previously involved in building Transaction Management department for JLL. In her new role, Barbara will be responsible for overseeing and transforming CBRE GCS real estate accounting and business support functions in all three regions – EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Americas. Barbara will focus on helping CBRE to sustain and expand competitive advantage in the marketplace by further increasing customer satisfaction, managing risk and achieving operational excellence.

Barbara Huss-Kaniewska was the first employee in CBRE Warsaw Shared Service Center, and her strong leadership ultimately helped grow the team to the current extend and success.

Barbara Huss-Kaniewska graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, Faculty of International Economic Relations.
