CBRE announced today that it will move its main headquarters to the 24th floor of Rondo 1 in Warsaw. CBRE will occupy 1,400 sq m of space, twice as big as its current office at 12th floor.

Warsaw, 3 December 2013 – CBRE announced today that it will move its main headquarters to the 24th floor of Rondo 1 in Warsaw. CBRE will occupy 1,400 sq m of space, twice as big as its current office at 12th floor.

Colin Waddell, Managing Director at CBRE for Poland, said:

“The recent growth in CBRE’s Polish operations has motivated the search for larger premises that will facilitate current expansion and future growth. The move to the upper floor has almost doubled the existing office space to 1,400 sq m which will accommodate all service lines, including Property Management.”

Rondo 1 is located in the centre of Warsaw, at Rondo ONZ, surrounded by luxury hotels, restaurants, conference halls and shopping facilities. Rondo 1 is one of the most recognized Class A+ office projects in both Poland and the CEE region. The Building received the LEED Gold certificate in the “Existing Building” category and is the first high-rise building in Europe to receive such a classification. The property has intelligent BMS and DALI systems that make the management of the building efficient and energy saving. The 40 storey skyscraper, with unique architecture, offers over 66,000 sqm of the high quality lettable area and almost 500 parking spaces for its occupants and guests.

Wojciech Smyk of BlackRock who is responsible for the asset management of Rondo 1 commented:

“Rondo 1 continues to attract leading companies operating in various economic sectors. We are proud to see that our building enjoys the appreciation of one of the world’s largest commercial real estate services firms. We are delighted that CBRE has decided to both grow in terms of its size and commit to a long term lease. We believe that this also showcases responsible thinking about the working environment for employees who will continue to benefit from the location and amenities available on-site.”

"Our staff are very pleased to remain in the current location which offers ample room for future expansion. The move is essential and will help with the implementation of our workplace strategy into our own headquarters,” said Colin Waddell, Managing Director, CBRE Poland. “The so-called innovative office layout will stimulate collaboration between individuals and departments while at the same time attract a new generation of employees who increasingly value a more dynamic atmosphere in the workplace. It will also help CBRE to reinforce the company’s widely recognized brand,” he added.
