Capital Markets further strengthen its team
Warsaw – 14th November 2008 – CB Richard Ellis today announced the following appointments:

Melanie Stephan has recently joined the Poland Capital Markets team based in Warsaw as Consultant. She is liaising with all German clients, especially open-ended and closed-ended funds, seeking to purchase commercial real estate in Poland. In her role, Melanie provides market analysis, advice during the purchase and sales process, opportunity identification and linking with all other business lines including Leasing, Valuation and Research. Melanie works closely with CBRE’s EMEA Cross Border Capital Markets Group based in London.

Having joined CBRE Germany in 2006, Melanie worked for two years in the International Investment team based in Frankfurt, acting as single point of contact for all foreign investors seeking to purchase commercial real estate in Germany. In this time she was engaged in nationwide single asset and portfolio transactions totalling more than Euro 2 billion.

Previously Melanie worked with RREEF Alternative Investments (Deutsche Bank Group) as a Portfolio Manager. Melanie holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt from Nuertingen-Geislingen University majoring in Real Estate Investment Banking.

Oliver Spriggs has been appointed Senior Analyst in the CEE Capital Markets team in Warsaw.
He will be mainly responsible for investment market analysis and assisting in completion of sales and acquisition transactions across Central and Eastern Europe for office, retail and industrial properties.

He joins the CEE Capital Markets team from the CBRE London office, where he worked for the Leisure and Alternative Investment Valuation team for the last 2 years. He was involved in UK and European cross border portfolio valuations, covering a broad range of industry sectors including Pub’s, Gyms, Healthcare, Hotels, Caravan Parks and Conference and Exhibition Arena.

Oliver graduated from the University of The West of England in Property Management and Investment.

Michał Stanisławski was appointed as a Junior Analyst in CBRE’s Poland Capital Markets team, based in Warsaw. He will be responsible for market and financial analysis, database management and transaction management in both sell side and buy side instructions.

Previously Michal was an intern with Deutsche Bank’s Central office in Kraków.

He holds bachelor degree from the University of Abertay Dundee, United Kingdom. Currently he is studying towards a Master’s degree in Real Estate at the Warsaw School of Economics while and completing a Master’s course in Management at the University of Economics in Poznań.
