CBRE LAUNCHES GLOBAL RESEARCH GATEWAY

- Online Portal Showcases CBRE’s Extensive Real Estate Intelligence and Insight -

London/Warsaw, 7 August 2013 – CBRE Group, Inc. has launched the Global Research Gateway - a new online portal providing access to CBRE’s extensive real estate research, knowledge and insight across all geographies and sectors.

The Global Research Gateway (www.CBRE.com/researchgateway)brings together CBRE’s collective global research intelligence onto a single platform for the first time. The Gateway will showcase CBRE’s thought leadership and extensive real estate industry insight, providing a shop window for the 3,000+ research reports - global, regional and local – the firm produces each year.

The Gateway, which provides advanced functionality and search capabilities, introduces a new global register-to-access policy that will allow clients and other visitors to set their own customised preferences, ensuring they receive research content most suited to their particular needs.

The online portal will also feature regular video and podcast updates from senior members of CBRE’s Global Research & Consulting group based throughout the globe, while linking to the team’s social media channels (@CBREGR)to provide real-time real estate market insights.

Bob Sulentic, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBRE, commented:
“Market information and insight hold the potential to create real differentiation for CBRE and enhance our ability to deliver thoughtful, market-leading content to our clients. The CBRE Global Research Gateway is an important step in fulfilling our vision for delivering usable market information and insight to further enhance our position as the recognised global authority on commercial real estate.”
The long-term goal for the portal is to provide increased client personalisation of CBRE research content to clients through bespoke research portals for VIP clients that are tailored to individual requirements.

Joanna Mroczek, Head of Research and Consultancy in CBRE in Poland, adds:
„We are making efforts that our publications and data show the most relevant and objective picture of the property market’s situation. The access to such information has been more and more appreciated by all the players of the market – developers, investors, funds, tenants, banks financing the properties as well as local and country’s public institutions. The Polish market has become more mature and also more transparent. Therefore we are able to provide deeper and advanced analysis, supported by the global knowledge.”

Dr. Raymond Torto, Global Chairman, CBRE Research, commented:

“The Global Research Gateway will enable us to provide customizable research and content to clients across the world. It’s significant leap forward in the way we are able to tailor and deliver our research.”

CBRE’s research extranet services are widely acclaimed throughout the commercial real estate sector, most recently in the ‘Best use of systems to enhance the clients’ experience’ category at the prestigious Managing Partners Forum (MPF) awards held in London earlier this year.

Bill Hughes, Managing Director of Property, L&G, commented:

“On the research side, CBRE are strong. We hold them in high regard. They have helpfully set up an Extranet, so that we can have frequent updates on their research material and that works well.”
