GLOBAL PRESIDENT, CAPITAL MARKETS

Los Angeles / Warsaw, 25 September, 2013 – CBRE Group, Inc. today announced that Chris Ludeman has been named Global President, Capital Markets.

In this role, Mr. Ludeman will oversee the global growth and integration of CBRE’s Capital Markets Services business line, including its Investment Sales, Debt & Structure Finance and Capital Advisors (investment banking) activities worldwide. CBRE is the global market leader in real estate capital markets. In 2012, CBRE was the intermediary in nearly $130 billion of capital markets engagements worldwide.

CBRE is poised to further grow its capital markets business as investment capital is increasingly allocated on a global basis.

He is a highly regarded leader with deep knowledge of the real estate capital markets and strong relations with our clients and our people around the world. We are excited about the potential for our global Capital Markets business with Chris at the helm.”

Mr. Ludeman will work closely with CBRE’s Capital Markets leaders around the world to plan and execute a growth strategy that will enhance the company’s ability to serve customers with the highest levels of consistent advice and execution.

Mr. Ludeman is a 33-year veteran of CBRE, having started as a sales trainee in 1980. Most recently, he has served as President of the Capital Markets business in the Americas, which has experienced strong growth under his leadership. Before that, he ran CBRE’s Brokerage business in the Americas. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ludeman served in several regional and local market leadership positions.
He is a member of CBRE’s Global Operating Committee, Americas Executive Board and Americas Operations Management Board, and is a past recipient of the J. Frank Mahoney Award for Excellence in Management; CBRE and the James J. Didion Award for Executive Excellence. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara.
