CBRE AWARDED IN THREE CATEGORIES

CBRE AWARDED IN THREE CATEGORIES IN OUTSOURCING STARS 2013 COMPETITION

CBRE named as the best firm providing BPO services in Poland

Warsaw, 21 January 2014 – CBRE, the world’s largest real estate advisory firm, was awarded in three categories in Outsourcing Stars 2013 competition organized by ProProgressio Foundation. The gala took place on January 16 in Warsaw’s prestigious the Ufficio Primo building. The goal of the competition was to award the best and the most dynamically developing outsourcing services providers and organizations from their direct business environment.

CBRE was awarded in three categories: the Real Estate Outsourcing Star – for the biggest number of sq m leased in A class buildings; the Real Estate Outsourcing Star – for the largest office lease transaction in 2013; and ProProgressio Foundation’s Special Award – for the best real estate market research services in Poland.

In 2013 CBRE leased 190,000 sq m of modern office space throughout Poland. The largest transaction executed by CBRE Office Agency was the securing of new location for Polkomtel’s headquarters (22,700 sq m) in the Harmony office building in Warsaw.

“We are very proud of the Outsourcing Stars awards. Poland is CEE’s most popular market among the investors from the modern business services sector. There is a growing demand for advisory services in that field. CBRE’s property negotiators assisted in the largest number of lease transactions for outsourcing companies in 2013. Recently, the most noticeable trend has been a tendency to extend the office space by companies already present on the market. It seems that instead of the previous organic growth we will more often witness consolidation and optimization of space. More emphasis will be put on innovative strategies in work environment.” - said Daniel Bienias, Director of Office Agency and BPO Services at CBRE.

“We are extremely pleased to be singled out as market analysts. We are happy that our research supports developing sectors of business and has its contribution in the growing number of investments in Poland. The commercial real estate market in Poland has become more mature, thus more and more emphasis is put on thorough analysis, transparency and access to information.”- said Joanna Mroczek, Director - Head of Consultancy & Research at CBRE.

The CBRE Consultancy and Research Department employs 6 people responsible for collecting and analyzing data concerning all aspects of office, retail and warehouse market in Poland. The department prepares various publications and presentations, and cooperates with academic institutions, government agencies, municipal authorities as well as widely-understood media. It supports new investors in decision-making processes, particularly in BPO/SSC field. CBRE analysts advise investors, banks, tenants and developers active on the Polish real estate market. They supported the commercialization of such projects as Rondo 1, Plac Unii, Chopin Airport City, and more.

CBRE is the real estate industry’s premier provider of corporate and institutional services globally.
